Bluegrass Truss Company has been consistent in providing excellent service since 1976.


OUR MANAGEMENT

Clyde Bartlett, President, has been with Bluegrass Truss Company since 1980. Mr. Bartlett has 40 years experience in framing and truss design. Mr. Bartlett recently served on the Board of Directors of The Wood Truss Council of America as Chairman of the Technical Advisory Committee.
Mike Cobb, General Manager, has been with Bluegrass Truss Company since 1999. Mike is a past board member of the Lexington Home Builders Association, past President of the HOW Warranty Corporation and has been involved in the construction industry since 1972.
Ray Johnson, Production Manager, has been with Bluegrass Truss Company since 1992. Ray is a retired airline pilot with many years experience in residential and commercial construction. Ray’s primary responsibility is to meet the production schedule and maintain the overall efficiency of the truss production operation.  Typically Bluegrass Truss Company employs approximately 40 shop employees working two eight-hour shifts five days per week.
Vernon Wash, Accountant is a three-year Bluegrass Truss Company employee. Vernon has 39 years experience in accounting primarily with manufacturing firms.
Sonny Turner, second-shift supervisor is a five-year employee of Bluegrass Truss Company. Sonny’s present responsibility is to oversee production of roof trusses and wall panels on second shift.
Bluegrass Truss Company employs two outside salespersons, Larry Watson and William Settles, to aid and assist with the needs of our customers. Our sales staff has combined experience of 40 years in both sales and hands on construction.
Bluegrass Truss Company has three full time truss technicians, Marsha Johnson, Watsmore Mwandiambira and Jonathan Cromer. Truss Technicians, including Marsha, began their employment at Bluegrass Truss Company in the truss shop. We believe it is vital for our truss technicians to understand how truss design can aid in the actual assembly of the finished product.
Marsha Johnson has been with Bluegrass Truss Company for a total of eleven years. Marsha’s main responsibilities are wall panel and truss design.
Jonathan Cromer, a WTCA Certified Truss Technician, has been with Bluegrass Truss Company for 3 years. Jonathan’s areas of responsibility are residential and commercial truss design.
Watsmore Mwandiambira is a two-year employee of Bluegrass Truss Company. In addition to wall panel design and roof truss design, Watsmore oversees the WTCA Quality Certification program at Bluegrass Truss Company.
Phillip Releford, Transportation Manager, oversees a shipping department comprised of three full time CDL drivers and a fleet of five delivery vehicles including two flat bed trucks and three tractors with stretchable hydraulic roll off trailers. Phillip has 25 years experience driving and maintaining different types of trucks and trailers.
Presently Bluegrass Truss Company employs 37 shop employees. Our oldest employee in years of service is Roger Sanders, component sawyer. Roger has been with Bluegrass Truss Company since March 28, 1976, 28 years.
